So BTT 8-seed is off the table at least

That win by NW was huge, for the Hawks. (and for my selfish needs of needing the Hawks to play in the evening/night games on the weeknights of the BTT)

Without being able to determine what will be wins/losses for the remaining conference games, it's impossible to tell who will be opponents in the BTT.

So while being the 5-seed looks better because of highest seed possible, I still feel like the best path of success lies at the 6, because I feel its mostly likely that Michigan will be the 3-seed... unless NW can jump up and get PU, which would push UM up to #2.

At this point, as long the Hawks wouldn't have to face MSU until (at least) Saturday, I'm good with wherever things end up for the BTT.

Even knowing the B1G is unpredictable this year, I'll be somewhat surprised if the Hawks aren't the 6 by the time that MD finishes their season with a win over MIN on Friday night.

* unless OSU gets Wesson back from his suspension this weekend, I don't see them upsetting the Badgers, even in Columbus

Minnesota matches up very well with Purdue.

So we beat NW in the 6/14 game then upset Michigan because Matthews is out still.. Minny beats Purdue and we avenge the Minnesota loss. Maryland upsets MSU and we get payback against the Terps for a big ten title! Simple

NW first has to beat either Rutgers, Illinois, Penn State, or Indiana in the 11/14 matchup. Iowa would get that winner as the 6 seed.

Iowa is currently playing the worst ball in the entire Big Ten - Nebraska second worst. Not getting excited about playing anyone.
