Really? When Iowa won the B1G tournament with Brunner/Horner that couldn't have been a great year? The table was set for an amazing tournament run.

Not really.

That team should obviously not have lost first round but that was not a good offensive team.

are you talking about seeding for the BTT or B1G Regular season championship?

I have since realized the error of my statement. A tie for a regular season championship is just that, no tiebreakers used, each team gets a championship banner to hang in their arena.
I admit I was a bit overly emotional after the loss and ignored certain facts such as head to head competition only coming into play for seeding. (Although if you weren't the 1 seed in the BTT it wouldn't entirely feel like you won the conference)

Depending on final seeding, I might actually prefer the 2 seed to 1 seed. Same bye situation, but #2 seed wouldn't see MSU until the final if they wind up 4th.
