Have stayed at Hyatt Place downtown for work which was nice but didn’t get to see the town. Wouldn’t mind a smaller hotel.

Alley Cats is a good place to eat. Hit Whiskey Junction for the quintessential dive bar experience. Unfortunately you will have to make the short drive to Waverly for lodging.

I'm a bit of a green chili afdiciando. Efrain's in Boulder had the best smothered green chilli burrito I've enjoyed. They specialize in Northern Mexico cuisine.

We just stayed at the Limelight downtown for a long weekend. Nice boutiquey hotel which sounds like what you wanted. Pretty easy access to lots of stuff downtown.

I'll also toss out Slice Works pizza downtown. Great vodka sauce slice available there.

We checked that out and were really disappointed unfortunately. Can’t judge off only one visit I guess but our slices were not hot at all.

Sure. I'm going off 5 to 10 years ago. Me and my buddies used to head out for hiking, weed, breweries, strip clubs and local eats.

At one point in time that was an incredible slice. And slices benefit from sitting for a while,but they need to be hot when you get them.
