You all know me as a FB guy and don't claim to be a BB expert just a fan. Posting late about BB because when the Hawks ever lose I stomp around mad all day until I calm down laugh it off and get on here to the lounge.
I think we saw today what it takes to be a National Champion in BB; Gonzaga is unbelievable. 18% from 3 was a big difference IMO; followed by transition defense and rebounding. I know Gonzaga did a better job than other teams chasing us off the three-point line but I didn't feel that was a big factor cause we had a lot of open looks they just didn't fall. I read something interesting that Gonzaga has played all 4 of their games away, and we have played all our games at home. Makes me feel a big factor in our poor 3 point shooting was "Foreign Rims".
Right now we are just 12 points away from being a team that could win it all; I bet getting current road experience with this team will really help.
