Listening to the Podcast with Jeff Haluska, he mentioned exhibition games and how the Iowa guys don't prepare for them.
Now of course that was then, but I presume that is how it is now as well? That we go through regular practices and an exhibition game is still treated as part of the process before the season beings?
Haluska also mentioned that we take about two days preparing for an opponent during the regular season. Do you believe that is still true? I'm presuming it is.
So. The next thing on my mind is how much and how hard did we practice this week leading up to tonight's game. Would we have put any concern into having fresh legs, cut back on drills or anything?
And finally, we picked a dang good sparing partner in Augustana, but did we do anything specifically preparing to play them?
