….and appreciate the job Ferentz does, year-in, year-out. I mean, seriously, look around at other schools. There are very, very few programs outside of the blue-bloods that have sustained success like Iowa, and it’s basically been like this for 40 years. We do it despite the fact we have to compete with another major university in a small state for fans and recruits. Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Nebraska don’t, and that matters a lot.
Many realize it now, but only in time, I feel, will the fan base fully appreciate what we have. Go Hawks.
