Sounds like B1G tourney over

I'll tell you what--I wouldn't want Patrick McCaffery to be anywhere near the BTT given that he's been dealing with unknown and possible cancer-related illnesses all year. He falls into the category of people with underlying medical conditions that are especially susceptible to the worst effects of COVID-19.

Influenza A is not the common cold. It's the flu. And he was reckless and irresponsible by going into that arena and onto that court knowing he was sick and knowing what's going on in the world. He may single-handedly bring the tourney down.
You are right. Dude should have not of been there, or at least have gotten tested before the game so as everyone would know it is just the flu. Dude caused more drama than needed right now.

He was cleared by a doctor before the game, at least other reports are saying that.
Well good, I imagine that would be standard for anyone feeling under the weather. But, you never know. Thanks for clarifying.

I had Influenza A couple of months ago and it was some of the sickest I've ever been. It's brutal.

Will the game be streamed?? BTN app shows replay only. I need to find a way to watch this at work.

All events on Big Ten Network are streamed on the Fox Sports App. If you have a TV subscription where you get BTN, you can log in on the Fox Sports App and watch there.

I'm retracting my post. Someone told me a presser was coming and I posted without confirming (bad on me). I cannot find any info that states there will be a press conference about this today.
my bad.

My guess is there will continue to be updates as the situation and news becomes available. I cannot believe that the NCAA will make the decision already to cancel the entire tournament, there is not enough information I don't think to make that decision. Playing in empty arenas, yes. Cancelling the entire thing? I don't see that as being necessary right now. But there is still 4-5 days before a decision would need to be made.

Absolutely. 95% of people (fans) have time to cancel travel arrangements.

The schools, players, families are the only ones that would have to cancel travel last minute. I'm guessing most of them would prefer to wait and see. After all the time and effort they've put into the season!

I agree shouldn't cancel in my opinion especially with empty arenas. Think of all the other places and venues that will have more people in them than places like the game today. Perfect example come Sunday thousands of churches all over the US will be full with many having hundreds of people. Restaurants and bars will be packed to the max come Tuesday for St. Pattys day.

You should be banned from posting here.

The only solace I will now take in this if the NCAA tourney is cancelled is that RU will not be able to participate in it yet again.

Seeing the pitfalls of social media. How fast bad information becomes gospel and causes panic. People irresponsibly tweeting all kinds of bad information or incomplete information right now has been grossly irresponsible. People need to sit back relax let things play out.
