I am bumping this because there were a couple of DBags who came in and gave me and others who were concerned after the MSU game a lot of crap. I am sure some these posters are no where to be found now. Some had some good insights.

I'm not saying that Iowa would have beat Alabama last night, but they would not have allowed themselves to been taken out behind the woodshed and humilated like the Spartans did.

Got to bump thread for its instructive takes. In hindsight, iowa fans were delusional about the quality of our team outside the big ten. Hate to say it but true (taxslayer 2). Total and complete fail against stanford. Lots of puff 'so proud' commentary now but reality=mediocre.

To think it has no value is pretty "stupid" to me, but to each their own.
