Spencer Lee at NCAA

Saw Spencer out in the Hallway eating dippin dots (small cup) and talking with 4-5 other young high school kids. No observable knee brace. Looked almost like a Jr. High kid. Sure didn't look like a 3 time World Champ with a killer instinct. And no I didn't ask if he wanted to sign a Poster for the HR Crowd.

Saw him at Fan Fest yesterday. Hawkeye gear, slightly gimpy. Teasdale and Warner there too. Running with Nate Burak and McD.

Fan Fest was pretty fun. Metcalf, McDonough, Burak, Ramos all working technique for USA Wrestling with various partners. Tons of champions on the mat

Spencer sat right in front of me, next to Bill Zadick and Brent Metcalf last session. He looked a little gimpy, but not bothered by pain. We had a few small discussions about his teammates etc. He was cheering hard for the hawks. Nice kid.
The future is bright.

You should have said it. I am sure that someone along the line has told him that the HR crowd calls him Striebler and he wouldn't have been too surprised. It is a true sign of respect of course.

Eh, I'm hardly a newbie. I just dont post a lot. I'm an Iowa wrestling fan above all. I occasionally go to some Michigan/state/CMU stuff, but usually only when Iowa is around, the then I talk to Ironside before things start.
