Okay if we are stuck with Petras at QB (and it appears we are), I think the best option is to have a game where he throws 40-50X. Why? He appears to be a rhythm guy, needs lots of throws to get going and to get out of his own head. Throwing a lot should result in a more comfortable player.
We can't just decide our QB is bad and we need to run the ball 40X with a loaded box and only pass on obvious downs - that' s a great way to average 10 points a game. Change things up, give Spencer a chance to throw and throw more. Every throw is not his last and he doesn't need to worry about getting only one throw a possession. Probably should have tried that strategy this week, going to be hard to do it next week. Maybe against Nevada.
