Agreed. He has very straight forward approach to his commentary. Good move for Chris.

You mean the Red Sox vs. Yankees Highlights/Broadcast Channel?
He will be doing NFL this year and then the Big Ten package in 2017 when FOX gets those games.
Will most likely be paired with Gus Johnson on those games in 2017.
So a huge move up by him with the NFL and then premier Big Ten games to follow.
It seems to be Fox is just outbidding everybody for everyone. Something tells me it isn't going to work out well for them. I think they end up over paying for a bunch of people that won't put up the ratings.
I like Spielman but having him go to the NFL I believe will be a failure. Part of his uniqueness is the way he understands and relates to the college fans. Not sure it will translate to the pros but maybe. Good for him, Im sure he got a nice pay raise out of this. Going to miss him in college though.

Just heard Chris on Full Ride. Talked about the Big 10. Said he probably will be doing their games in 2017. Also said he thinks change is coming. Wouldn't be surprised to see Oklahoma and maybe Texas in the Big 10.
