Yeah...I don't think their weekly power rankings is even in the magazine. Luke Winn is a real solid CBB writer too. MSU had a great OOC resume and one loss on the road without their best player before last night, not sure why it's a reach to have them ranked number one.

This is not a year with a solid number one.
Look at the top 10, all quite vulnerable.
No team is separated much from the others.
It's a great year for the Hawks to be on the upswing as the behemoths(uk, duke, etc.) have no separation from the rest of the top 20.

I said before Minnesota drilled MSU last night--you could look it up--that MSU has been entirely unimpressive. They don't shoot well, they don't rebound, and even their physical defensive style has been ineffective. So one thing to be thankful for is that the poser Izzo, along with his pals Calipari at Kentucky and Coach K at Duke, are suffering. How great is that? A measure of justice comes to college basketball.

BTW: I caught the gamblers' picks last night just before Maryland beat Wisconsin 60-54. The gamblers all said Wisconsin would win by double digits, easily covering the 9-point spread. LOL LOL LOL
