Good call by me as always.
Didn't watch the whole game but Wisconsin's starting lineup scored all but 2 points for the entire game and overtime. Played only 9 players, I know it's only 1 game but it may be a sign that they may have a depth problem that may haunt them the entire season. We shall see.
You don't need depth when you don't get called for fouls. Bo Boroski's another Big Ten rep clown.
Wisconsin really has been screwed over by the NCAA with Potter. Kid did everything right and by the book but didn't get his waiver on a year the NCAA seems to be granting waivers to everyone except the straight A student Potter. Total screw job by the NCAA but hey maybe this will help us in the end come selection Sunday.

I only watched the overtime but noticed the same when I looked at the box score. Do they have any players out due to injury or suspension?
Wasn’t their “home” court but definitely had a “home” crowd similar to when Iowa played Colorado there a couple years ago.
I think we are a little thin. A big piece which has thrown everything into chaos is the Micah Potter ineligibility. It has forced everyone to play un-natural positions. Anderson is still recovering from knee surgery and is not nearly 100%. I think 2nd semester we will be better.
Possibly, It was not a home game though. You still have all the travel, schedule. etc. Gotta give St Mary's credit too.
Relax, Your point is taken. However. That crowd in that Gym was not like a home crowd. Not close.
Illinois plays the toughest teams in the country. They’re like the Nebraska of basketball. Just ask Frost how tough their games are. He’ll tell ya.
All kidding aside, Wisconsin played well and fought back after they could have very easily quit. Definitely not an ideal opener, but that would be cool to play a top 20 team closer to home.
“Hollywood” Higgins was there and that’s enough.
Here come the people to tell me how awesome he is because he’s done final fours before.
