Stall Camp??

That's obviously a joke. Kind of funny actually. Especially if they advertise the camp as being in Stillwater.

I wonder if they hoist the French surrender flag each morning. The camp mascot is the Cowardly Lion.

Gable is part of the project so it can't be that bad. The question is how do they sustain the joke for the whole video. The trailer is a big win.

Ok, watched the trailer again and yea, looks like bad acting jobs by all the interviewees.
A light take on wrestling will be a nice change actually. This doc could be pretty funny

Guys - I got connections. Here's an outline of the camp sessions:

I. Equipment Adjustments - Shoe and Headgear Recommendations

II. Riding - You Don't Need to be on Top to Ride!

III. Bloodless Injury TOs - Concussions and Seizures Perfected

IV. Backing Up - Learn the Moonwalk

V. Flip the Script - Accuse Your Opponent of Stalling and Do It at the Scorer's Table if Necessary

VI. Safe "Offense" - Save Your Good Stuff for Out-of-Bounds and Before the Whistle

Unfortunately, I think a couple teams we wrestled last year practiced #3 and took advantage of the rule.

The old "I've lost my contact!" ploy. Under bloodless, I'd like to add "Took one in nuts" because that is usually good for a sympathy minute.

how about untying and then tying the same shoe? how about riding a guy out without actually doing anything?

Is this where they teach wrap up the arms and push towards OOB?
and this is when at Carver Arena everybody yells "stalling" at their own wrestlers over and over again! I was always impressed with the knowledge of the fans from Iowa!:)

Is this where we show a picture of the Kurdlemeir mat that shows how far back stall clinics have been going on?

I hear Chance Marstellar is making a cameo

Actually Chance is running a sister clinic aptly named, "How to have such poor cardio to look like you are stalling when you actually have no energy left to intentionally be doing anything of the sort!"

I give Chance a lot of slack; he was wrestling a full weight class down from his optimum weight, against his will. His head was not in a good place for multiple reasons, not of which I believe we're his fault.

In best of times D1 wrestling is a huge physical and mental challenge. I can only imagine what it was like for him last year. That was not, imo, representative of who he is as a wrestler.

I 100% agree with you. That is why I made sure to clarify that I don't believe he was stalling at all. For whatever reason his body simply wouldn't let him wrestle past about the 4 minute mark or so. How he does now that he can wrestle his ideal weight and doesn't have the OkState pressure should tell us quickly if DI College wrestling is for him!
