I thought there was a possibility he would leave early based on draft projections. This year’s DE class this loaded. The defensive line in general is looking at possibly 10-15 guys drafted in round one. Here’s a list of the best DEs possibly in the 2019 draft and Nelson ranks #21, but projected a 3rd to 5th round draft pick. That wouldn’t make me feel good enough about entering, I’d stay. Iowa just reloading.
