Here's a list of U.S. states with legal online sports gambling (with other states coming soon):
Arizona
Arkansas
Colorado
Connecticut
Illinois
Indiana
Iowa
Kansas
Louisiana
Maryland
Massachusetts
Michigan
New Hampshire
Ohio
Oregon
Pennsylvania
Rhode Island
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
Tennessee
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin
Wyoming

Therefore, just going off football, these are the D1 FBS programs that online sports gambling could affect (but probably won't)....besides Iowa/ISU:
Arizona / Arizona State
Arkansas / Arkansas State
Colorado/Colorado State/Air Force
Connecticut
Illinois / Northwestern / Northern Illinois
Indiana / Purdue / Notre Dame
Kansas / Kansas State
LSU / Tulane / UL-Lafaytte / UL-Monroe / Louisiana Tech
Maryland / Navy
Massachusetts / Boston College
Michigan / Michigan State / Central Michigan / Eastern Michigan / Western Michigan
Ohio / Ohio State / Cincinnati / Akron / Bowling Green / Kent State / Miami, OH / Toledo
Oregon / Oregon State
Penn State / Pittsburgh / Temple
Nevada / UNLV
Rutgers
Syracuse / Buffalo / Army
Tennessee / Vanderbilt / Memphis / Middle Tennessee State
Virginia / Virginia Tech / Liberty / Old Dominion / James Madison
Washington / Washington State
West Virginia / Marshall
Wisconsin
Wyoming

So these are all the programs that could technically come under investigation for any kind of illegal gambling by athletes at these schools, as they would have access to accounts that can place bets in these states.

Yet, nothing is going to happen.................

But at least now we know who to point a finger at and cry about how they're not being investigated for any potential wrongdoing, as opposed to just saying Alabama or Georgia because they're the top schools. (not that they couldn't figure out how to use VPNs to gain access to online sportsbooks, which also probably happens, but still.................)

I’d be real nervous right now if I were Tulane, MiddleTennessee State or Bowling Green.

No need to be nervous. The NCAA just let the Iowa DCI do all the work and make and example out of the Iowa players.

Not excusing the gambling.... Such a stupid thing for the players to do. They know the (stupid) rules about no betting on ANY sports.

If Shannon really only bet on OTHER sports, the 1 year suspension is a f**king joke.

If you are a visual learner, this is a good resource. Note that lots of states have restrictions in place preventing you from wagering on instate collegiate teams. The expected outcomes would likely be much different if that was the case in Iowa.

I was going to reply but I have so many thoughts I can't express them cogently.

It's interesting to think about how this could potentially impact D1 FBS programs. Even if it doesn't directly affect them, it sure adds another layer of excitement for fans who like to wager a bet here and there.
You mentioned football, but let's not forget that people love betting on various sports, including basketball, baseball, and even combat sports. And if you're interested in exploring more types of gambling, I highly recommend you take a look at 바카라사이트. They cover not just Baccarat but also offer some great insights into sports gambling, slots, and various other casino games.

Non stop barrage of gambling ads on television, websites, etc. Celebrities and former pro athletes pushing gambling, ESPN and all the big media talking about point spreads, picks, etc., What the hell do we expect?
