Saturday Night Live’ has not produced a meaningful talent since the 1990s'

LOL Wut
If you take out Will Forte, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, John Mulaney, Keenan Thompson, Jason Sudeikis, Kristin Wiig, Andy Samburg, Bill Hader, Michael Che, Kate McKinnon, Jenny Slate, Vanessa Bayer, Seth Meyers, Dan Bulla, Maya Rudolph, Tim Robinson, Akiva Schaffer, Cecily Strong, and maybe a half dozen others, he’s right.

the people who swear SNL - as a whole - was significantly funnier 30 years ago is just forgetting all the crap sketches there were

seriously...go back and watch some of those episodes...just like now, 1/3 of the sketches are terrible, 1/3 of the sketches are OK, and 1/3 of the sketches are actually funny

And it’s always been that way. Even with the first cast. Bee Hospital was maybe the worst sketch in SNL history. They knew how bad it was, so they progressively used the costumes over and over in more ridiculous ways. There were also plenty of terrible muppets segments, bad Albert Brooks films, and awful comedy sets.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus was awful in most of what she did and she has the most Comedy Emmy wins in history.

People talk about Farley and Sandler like it was the golden age when they were both fired because the show needed to be overhauled.

That is pretty much how it always is. But I suppose that's sort of how comedy goes. Stand ups try out jokes at smaller venues to see what's funny and what sucks so they can weed out the bad stuff before they film their netflix special.

SNL has to prep in a week so they don't get the chance to find out beforehand.

They’re also incredibly limited by their format, the host’s choices, duplicative skills, cast turnover, and demographics.

When Bobby Moynihan (who was great) auditioned the cast only had one female member. They had to pass over Jordan Peele, Nick Kroll, and Donald Glover to fill those holes.

I’ll have to research him. Admittedly, not familiar with his history.
Only thing I can say is he possesses very few masculine traits. Gives off a fragile and weak vibe.
Miller mouthed off to the wrong Hispanc while in college and got his ass beat big time, and has hated all minorities since . The little prick needs a reminder of that day, again. He has used that to make a living ever since, with the like minded.

You're sounding a little like a violent authoritarian yourself here. I've read your posts, you are better than that.
