Steven Patrick spotted and his vertical must be awesome

Are you telling me you were 5'10 and could dunk? I am 6'1 and could barely dunk and had large hands. I am skeptical as there aren't many guys who aren't freaks who could dunk being a couple inches under 6'. If true then you must have been quite the stud.

It really isn't that far fetched. I was probably 5'10" or maybe 5'11" in high school and could dunk, but had to do it 2 handed because I couldn't palm the ball without that miracle stickum spray stuff. I could also shoot the shit out of the ball, but by no means did it mean I was a D1 quality B-Ball player. The guys that even get to that level are generally very special at the high school level.

Are we just going to let this statement go with no witty replies? Come on HROT, don't disappoint.

OK, I'll bite. In the context of the OP's post do you know what else SP doesn't have?................ Kids. Not necessarily a bad thing.

For the big do you mean Will Smith, frashon McGhee? Yes bre played with those guys. And all of McGraw former players will tell you that he was horrible. Most of the time they didn't have plays, just said go play.

I remember Smith and Frashon. FM is probably who I was thinking of. Smith was lanky backup IIRC. I won't argue with you regarding McGraw. I have been around Waterloo hoops for a long time, and the kids that went to East needed direction and discipline and he gave that to them. Those teams won with suffocating defense and scoring in transition. Reed was the only threat from distance and at that time, Henderson was primarily a 15' and in guy.

In McGraw's absence, they were a freaking joke, an unorganized train wreck looking for a place to happen. Since he has been back, even though they don't have the talent that prior teams have had, they play hard and play the right way. I can see how former players would have an ax to grind with SM, but from where I sit, he is exactly what that school needs.

Now back to SP...

I could......I wrestled 145....so it's not like I had to hoist a lot of weight to get off the ground. I did High Jump for Track as well.

Yes.....they did. But most HS's didn't have them yet.

is your favorite song "Glory days" by Bruce Springsteen?
Says the guy that had to chime in that he could dunk in HS too, even though it had nothing to do with anything he was talking about.
You realize who brought this subject up in the first place right? You are honestly the whiniest AARP card holder I have ever run into.

Actually....I wasn't the OP. And YOU asked if I was ever able to jump and touch the net, Corky.
That 47th chromosome is really giving you fits today, isn't it?

I'm whiny?....hehehe........ OK Princess. Why don't you tell us more about your HS conquests........We are waiting with bated breath, Jimmy Chitwood.

Well, you've been trolling for my attention since I came back on this site, and looks like you won and got me to respond. Congrats.

I can't speak for his high school days, but in recent times he's proven to run away with amazing speed.

Everyone has been busting your balls in this thread...not just me. I wasn't even the OP of this thread...But somehow I'm trolling you. GTFO of here with this bullshit.

And I mean this in the nicest possible way.......Stop being such a dramatic little bitch all the time.
Now run and tell Tom that I swore at you. You tattle on everyone anyway......might as well not break the cycle now.
I told you I didn't want to deal with your troll efforts against me when you tried to pick a fight with me on my first post on the new forum, which you responded close to 4 minutes after my OP. Nope, no stalking going on here!

Also, it's always amusing to watch the old uncle SEC try to fit in with the younger kids by swearing to sound cool. What would you think about that type of language if your young child was reading these boards? Or if I spoke like that around your family?

I would point out your history of crying to get posts removed, but I feel like I'm slowly outgrowing this internet fighting BS

I had a friend was a big baseball player
Back in high school
He could throw that speedball by you
Make you look like a fool boy
Saw him the other night at this roadside bar
I was walking in, he was walking out
We went back inside sat down had a few drinks
But all he kept talking about was

Glory days well they'll pass you by
Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye
Glory days, glory days

Well there's a girl that lives up the block
Back in school she could turn all the boy's heads
Sometimes on a Friday I'll stop by
And have a few drinks after she put her kids to bed
Her and her husband Bobby well they split up
I guess it's two years gone by now
We just sit around talking about the old times,
She says when she feels like crying
She starts laughing thinking about

Glory days well they'll pass you by
Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye
Glory days, glory days

Think I'm going down to the well tonight
And I'm going to drink till I get my fill
And I hope when I get old I don't sit around thinking about it
But I probably will
Yeah, just sitting back trying to recapture
A little of the glory, well time slips away
And leaves you with nothing mister but
Boring stories of

Glory days yeah they'll pass you by
Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye
Glory days, glory days

Yeah they'll pass you by
Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye
Glory days, glory days
