I hope 11 or 12. Best chance for a Sweet 16. I don’t give a $hit about 1 win. This team and this fan base need two.

As soft and as frustrating as they are, they absolutely do have the ability to get hot and beat a 5 and then a 4, or a 6 and then a 3.

Likely? No. But possible.

If they get a 8/9 seed, my interest in this tournament takes a nose dive.

I agree that if this teams catches fire shooting, that they have a puncher's chance against most anyone.

Sure, you could easily fill 50 spots with P6 teams but where's the fun in that. If a conference doesn't get an autobid why even have D1 basketball at 200+ midmajor schools

And to add to this, if there were no auto-bids, Iowa would be even more of a lock, not less of one. Iowa would not be staying home if most bids are going to the power conferences.
