Not making excuses but Evans had to be sucking a lot of weight. He wrestled 180 something in high school and 5 years later he is still wrestling under his high school weight. That can't be healthy.

He wrestled up a weight class his SR. year and wrestled 165 for us when he first got here. I doubt 174 is as difficult of a cut for him than most other college wrestlers.

Lofthouse was also 25 years old and served a two year mission. Can't knock a man for sacrificing two years of his life and go serve a mission. Brown is a good guy, he just had Evans # this year. Evans will go on to do great things in life.

That is not true. He is not the biggest 174 out there but he cuts weight. Certainly does not walk IN the room weighing 174 unless you're referring to walking into the locker room for weigh ins.

This board has really gone to hell in the last couple of years. Some of these threads are absolutely ridiculous. Pretty much all of the knowledgeable posters have given up on it and by the looks of it, Gobblin is pretty fed up too.

That's a pretty funny post. thom67 posts say his information is from guys inside the room, and you question it. gobblin says he knows what's going on, but seldom if ever has said anything other than: "be patient guys, if you only knew what this or that guy was capable of if he didn't have the flu or wrestled thru and event or was injured, or this guys gonna be a 2x Champ." Nothing he said was anything which would be considered useful inside information. His connections must have been disconnected when he said he was going to stop posting here. To say gobblin is fed up is curious. Are you guys both inside the room guys with deep connections to the team?
