Strittmatter

Ok, I've had a little too much Maker's Mark, but why not make a run at Strittmatter. You see high school coaches with a "talent pipeline" hired all the time at the collegiate level. I love Terry, but make him the HWC coach exclusively and plug Strittmatter in as the #2.

I'm sure it is a pipe dream, but the other options seem pretty unlikely as well.

I think we need tell our horse ass AD we need more assistants and more $ for them. Jody would be great, especially with Pa roots. Gotta drop Mstar, good god. Lock up Metcalf and Ramos, take a swing at Perry also. But, it all comes down to talent and recruiting.....and Iowa HS wrestling. PA is cream of the crop.

I'm all ears on the Strittmatter thing but you really need to stop with all the posts about more assistants. That's limited by the NCAA.

The HWC would need a 7 figure donation to make that happen. Giving him equivalent salary, Benefits, Pension plan...it would take a small fortune

Probably so. But this team is Spencer Lee to PSU (which I have to think is going to happen because why wouldn't it) to being a perennial bridesmaid for the next decade.

I'm not disagreeing. I actually think that would be an excellent idea, but the cash flow just isn't there with the HWC

How would more lightweight coaches who don't specialize in mat wrestling or scrambling change our situation? If a coaching change is what you want, bring in something new and different. Not more of the same.

He's vested in PA wrestling man...has a nice thing going. Not even sure if he wants to jump up. If he did I'm sure UPJ & other programs have come a calling. Getting paid with the YG gig....
