What do you do when you play in the National Title game & your team doesn’t lose? Or win.

I feel alright about the result. I think if you look at the teams on paper, Hawks probably shouldnt have got passed SC and the did… They hung with LSU in dramatic fashion… It can’t only be the CC show….LSU and SC had some studs and It caught up with the Hawks

As well as being classy. They may have lost on the court, but the way they handled themselves make them winners in my book!

I just wanted to see no interference when game was 69-62, and some calls on LSU's bench. Game left too much to be desired.

Totally agree… it was a farce. But at the end of the day, not many teams in Iowa’s position have really had the experience of making that spotlight. It has been so dominated by the powerhouses. Probably… what 3/4 teams can legit say they have natty as the final destination, to start the season. Lady Hawks were in rare air.

I agree it was still quite the feat, just will always stick with me that they got that close, and Iowa being almost a champ is a reoccurring theme I wish they'd break.

Agreed. It's too bad because they overcame a lot to get to that point in the game. Down 21, with serious foul trouble, some...bizarre officiating, on an extremely short turnaround ( I still can't get over the fact they were doing interviews past midnight on Friday discussing this historic win, then it's only 36 hours until the champ game with 2 sleeps jammed in there), and yet they were right there late in the third. Impressive refocus, particularly with all of the Final Four chaos.
