I was at the game on friday but not on sunday. and I'm looking for opinions from those who saw both games... I mentioned in another thread that I thought there was a lot of 1on1 ball in the first game, but i saw some highlights from sunday's game and the passing looked to be much better, more team basketball.

does anyone have a similar opinion? or an opinion in general on that?

not sure if this equates but Fran does want whoever gets the defensive rebound to push it ...and not automatically look for a "guard".

I agree the half court passing was better. We do have a player in Cook that is going to look at times as playing 1 on 1 but you can turn on the TV and say the same thing about a lot of highly ranked players. Bridges last night was driving Izzo crazy.

oh I agree, but from what little I saw of the replay, the passing seemed to really lead to some easy looks (I know ground breaking stuff right here). just wondering if that was something they seemed to focus on more during the second game.

I was there close to the court and yes the passing was better, much better in fact. Don't misunderstand it still isn't a crisp, smooth running offense but what impressed me the most was the much improved passing into the post and getting kick outs and I could see situations where they were close and looking, particularly with Pemsyl in the high post foe some back doors. They aren't there yet , much to still improve on and a few turnovers but improving, so stay tuned

Oh I also misspell other things not just names, some just being in a hurry , some because of fat fingers, some cos ( because) I don't look up the word, but the general idea was Mr. Pemsl plays pretty darn well , especially for a freshman.

that's what I noticed in the replays as well, and of course they were highlights so they didn't show the TOs, but it did look like the passing was improved. Thanks for the report!
