If block can get as good in folk as he is in freestyle, and find a comfortable weight, he could be a beast. Hopefully the ACL didn’t affect him much. Would have loved to see him get his 5 matches in redshirt last year like Gabe did.

He’s moving well so far. And no brace *fingers crossed*

Anyone know what grade the Illinois kid is who won 106, also what grade Schwab and young Bassett are in ? The length and athleticism of the Illinois kid was too much for Bassett and Schwab

He is a soph. I used to wrestle his father when we were in HS. His dad was a multiple time placer and great athlete!

He is athletic but also a really big 106lber, if that makes any sense! He wrestled alot at 113

The wrestler I was most impressed with was Sergio Vega. His opponent (Dalton Perry) is a good wrestler and Vega made it look like a drilling session. Cornell got a good one.

At this age, technically better than RBY with a bigger motor. Excels in all three positions, offense and defense. At Who’e #1, impressed the hell out of me with his riding ability. At Super 32, played catch and release.
