The third annual Take Down Cancer clinic will be held this Thursday at 5:30 in the Small Multi-Sport Center at Cornell College prior to the Coe vs. Cornell dual. The clinic is organized by avid Hawkeye wrestling fan, Bill Bails (who is himself battling bone cancer) and Mount Vernon Middle School coach, Greg Murphy. Past clinicians have included Matt McDonough, Brent Metcalf, Tony Ramos and Matt Fields. The cost of the clinic is $20 and all proceeds go to the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center Hope Fund and Family Resource Center.
$20 doesn't seem like much money, but if you know of a young person in grades K-6 whose family may not be able to afford the extra expense, email me at jbrown@wrestlingforlife.org and Wrestling for Life will pay for the clinic.

The meet follows at 7:00 and this year's edition should be the most hotly contested in recent years.
