Okay, everyone is freaking out over TE recruiting, and like everyone, I am disappointed. However, a couple points...
1. A couple of the best TEs of the Ferentz era, Clark, Kittle and Chandler, were moved from other positions. Maybe we got someone on the roster who can fit that bill.
2. The TE room at Iowa ain't lacking in talent...just numbers. LaPorta has been good, and by all accounts Lachey really stepped up this spring and lets hope pretty highly rated Yelverton and Miamen can step up AND stay healthy.
3. As mentioned in a couple other threads, we got some pretty well regarded walk ons who could provide depth and maybe develop into stars. I think we will see a guy like Frericks play this fall.
4. Don't be suprised to see a transfer at this spot.
