Defense is the most obvious one. Keegan Murray has really come on strong.

Toussaint had his best game ever as a Hawk against the Zags; can he regain that mojo the next few weeks

Agree. Joe T was the best player on the floor in the second half. We played awful in the first half. We shot like 18% from three and we managed to make it a game. Remember though, the Zags hadn’t hadn’t played in a couple of weeks. We also had Nunge who had a solid game. I would rather play them again than any of the other number 1 seeds. They have a lot of pressure on them. They haven’t been tested much. If we play them and hang around (instead of trying to climb a mountain like the first game ) I like our chances against them. But there’s plenty more business to take care of first. I will be somewhat surprised if Gonzaga wins it all.

I would agree this is not the same team that played Gonzaga the first time. Their defense has improved dramatically and reserves have some experience. If it happens Iowa has a very good shot IMO! But first, they have a tough road ahead.

IMO FM really struggles with in game adjustments when a guy is torching the Hawks (Suggs, Johnson-MN-, Trice- Wisc, etc,). The only thing I have noticed is he might switch form m2m to zone or vice versa. Again, IMO, he does not utilize/spot his good defensive players to change the rhythm of the hot shooter/player, even if only for a short period of time.
