Not sure if this has been posted already on a different thread but I thought it was interesting.

Gavin talks about committing to Iowa and when asked a question about where he and Lee fit in the Iowa lineup he basically says, they'll go wherever Coach Brands tells them to go. Good answer kid. He's going to be fun to root for.

Different publications, media, and interviewers. I suspect this will happen quite often. If you've followed college wrestling as long as some of us have, this isn't unique.

Especially now in this day of earlier and earlier commits.

Well if you follow college wrestling close at all or recruiting, than you know he has answered this multiple times to include his commitment video...combined with Lee, was the biggest recruiting story of the year.

All these interviews that you're alluding to can't be a negative for the Hawks. So I am not sure why you are complaining.

Maybe you've heard that any publicity is good publicity. Any interview with Hawk recruits is a plus, imo!

I have to agree that it's not such a bad thing for Gavin and Spencer to be asked repeatedly about their reasons for coming to Iowa. The more younger wrestlers hear them gush about our coaches and our program, the better, IMO.

I actually disagreed with chief for once. . . . Mark it down!
