The kid has/had legit problems. If you're not rooting for him to turn it around and have success of some measure, you need to reevaluate some things.

Teasdale isn't loser. He is just a kid trying to find his way in life. I hope he figures it out and finds some happiness.

I really thought being in the positive environment of the Iowa room surrounded by guys like Lee, Kem, Marinelli, Young, etc. would help him to turn things around with his life, didn't care if we got any good results out of him or not.

He won four PA state titles and made two world teams. I would say he amounted to a lot at a very young age. What will he amount to as an adult? Well only time will tell but I for one hope he accomplishes a ton in life.

Good reply rcamp. While I agree that Gavin pissed away a lot of opportunities, I don't agree with judging a kid on his 16-20 year old choices. I can't speak for everyone else, but I would be in trouble if everyone judged me based on what I did in high school and college!
If Teasdale had no athletic ability and was just a joe-schmo working at a gas station with his known antics there would be a lot of you calling him a loser.

Hell, people call opposing wrestlers a lot worse than a loser on these forums almost weekly. Montoya, Berger, Downey, Murphy, Steveson, etc have all drawn Hawkeye fans ire and much worse insults.

Berger is a prick. Downey is just plain Downey (no words). Steveson cocks off but I believe is actually a good dude. None are losers, the closest being downey. But he actually wins quite a bit.

Joe -schmo working in a gas station??? Not sure what this means? I have known plenty of young kids and men who work in gas stations. One of my good friends use to pump gas to make some money when he was in HS. Went on to start his own business in Manhattan and does very well for himself.
I get it is a wrestling board and you are FREE to post what you like mostly, but getting on a kid like Teasdale for screwing up? He certainly is not the first and will not be the last. It appears that he is trying to move forward, Hopefully he is able to do just that.
Others who may have committed crimes, started brawls, mouth off, etc... I believe is somewhat a different case.
