Ted Cruz says Blue Cross dropped him and his family

If you like your plan you can keep it as long as obama approves it and moving the goal posts and switching it up to an hmo is fine with obozo

Have to admit that I didn't read the entire thread, but why did Ted drop his senate health policy?

He may have had a prior individual plan prior to aca that he tried to keep but now they switched it to hmo and hmo not real strong in tx

I can see why he wouldn't be happy with an HMO, but that's not the same as not having insurance, which he claimed in New Hampshire.

I have heard this stuff for decades Kiting...I'm sayin' I just have never found someone who has done it. There might be procedures one can't get done Canada but I seriously doubt that they are "life threatening" situations...unless they are "experimental" or unapproved in Canada...as many such procedures are in the US and US insurance companies. A few years ago I was made to wait 5+ years for a hip replacement so I could meet the insurance company's criteria (mostly age).......I met a delightful Canandian lady a year later who was a year younger than I and she had to wait 6 months to have her's replaced.......Mined cost me $1k out of pocket and my insurer stated they paid $11600...The Canadian lady told me she never received a bill.....It was FREE! We both had the same hip installed.
About 50,000 Canadians do it every year.
