You said that right. I checked last night because I was curious. Iowa has been playing college football for 127 years. I know there are more games per year now but still ... they have won 10 games or more in a season only 8 times; and they have won 11 only twice: '02 and '04.
What an amazing year.
10-0, likely 11-0 and hopefully 12-0 (this is amazing to even think or suggest) will set everyone's expectations going forward. Good material to use when the new recruits come calling and the new commitments begin their next level of play. Who would not want to meet or exceed this?
I thought it rather interesting that alongside the four teams set in the bracket they were pointing out were working with 4 and 5 star player we are doing it with 0 five-star and only 8 four-star. This has got to add only to the frustration the national media seems to be having with Iowa being where they are in the first place. I love it!!!
