Ten Seconds Left

The PI was hardly "rinky dink." He full on two hand shoved the defender. That's offensive PI 100 times out of 100, even if you're Ohio State.
But I am impressed how quickly the NCAA implemented this new rule now that one of their darlings got bested. Had this been Tulane getting the best of Western Kentucky, I doubt anyone would have noticed.
Too bad they wouldn’t call pass interference in our game with the Buckeyes. The touchdown catch where their receiver made the one handed grab and with the other hand was stiff arming and holding onto the jersey of Deshun Lee. They was obvious offensive pass interference.

All of this takes away from the idiocy of Day. They had a first and ten at the Oregon 28 yard line with 28 seconds left. They could have run the ball and spiked it. Then kicked a game winning fg.
The pass attempt wasn't a bad call... the offensive PI was huge. Still, you run for no gain or a couple yards you have a 45 or under yard FG attempt. OSU's kicker was 4/4 on the night.

I agree that could have been called.

We did benefit from an instance (against Wisconsin?) of this when DJK was pulling a DB jersey back and also hauled in a one hand catch.
