A Tri-Cities man has been convicted of selling his children to a sex-film ring.

Thursday, a federal jury convicted Ronnie Lee McCall, 60, of Johnson City on four counts related to the sexual exploitation of three of his daughters, including permitting a child in his custody and control to travel in interstate commerce to produce child pornography; production of child pornography; production of child pornography by a parent; and using a means of interstate commerce to induce a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity (child rape under Tennessee law).

Johnson City police arrested the McCalls in 2012 and charged them with felony child abuse and neglect. Investigators said the family lived in a mobile home and described the conditions inside the home as deplorable.

That's the entire point, I'm glad you caught that. But I don't hate religious folks. That's why I go to the bother of pointing out how wrong their holy books are. I'm like a prophet sent to bring the good news of rational thinking. But I wouldn't be so sure the Bible has much negative to say about my lifestyle.

Hmmm. I had never wondered about this before, but how young were the youngest "good" women who had sex in the OT?

I assume we have some folks here who know the answer. And I'm betting the age is pretty young by today's standards.

A quick google leaves me thinking that it may be OK (within marriage, of course) once they menstruate.

There are also instances in the OT when "good" daughters and wives have sex outside marriage, so maybe that "within marriage" restriction doesn't apply.

Could a case be made that prostituting your underage daughters is a matter of "religious freedom"?
