LOL. About 25% of coaches would shove their mothers out of the way to win.Hope he gets shut out from Power 4. We need a NIL market correction.

Why would anyone want him when he is not a team player looking out for himself.
Tar HeelsIronic that Tennessee fought tooth and nail to get him on the field and he turned around and pissed on their shoes.
He will land somewhere. Someone will sell what’s left of their integrity for him to play one year then sit out a bowl game. He won’t be worth it.
I imagine they're pretty happy with Saiyan. But anything could happen.
Try to understand the difference. The dude had a contract, which I would assume required that he actually participate in, you know, football activities. So he sits out spring practice and extorts the school to "double down" on his 2 mil. As of this point NOBODY has said their willing to pay the kid, (and God bless them for that). He tried shopping his services at twice the ridiculous amount he was getting, and hopefully he ends up regretting his extortion, and teams don't cave in.So, just to be clear. You wouldn't leave your current job if someone else was willing to pay you double because of your loyalty to your current company?
How do you know he doesn't have a contract? I'm sure they have some type agreement. As for his kid I hope this a harbinger of things to come. Get to greedy, and the door gets shut in your face.....This kid doesn't have a contract though. I don't particularly like his way of asking for more money but until there are contracts, we will see this type of stuff from time to time. The kid is just trying to get the most he can. Money above all else. That’s the new religion, it appears unfortunately.
Stop. He has NO idea what his value is, or is not. He got greedy, and tried to redo his deal, and now he's out, and hopefully he stays out...If one felt they were underpaid by say 50%, we would all do the same thing.
No i won't stop. He is being managed by someone. He ain't just doing this on his own.Stop. He has NO idea what his value is, or is not. He got greedy, and tried to redo his deal, and now he's out, and hopefully he stays out...
How would anyone possibly "feel underpaid" when this shit show just started? They got greedy. Thats all this is. It's not about established "worth". Its great though. Hopefully "his agent" gets him a demotion out of P4 football, and a big pay cut, and the kid can take his agents "cut" out of his ass.No i won't stop. He is being managed by someone. He ain't just doing this on his own.
And most of those have already said their not interested in that price tag..Athlon lists 3 potentials as North Carolina with Belichek; Notre Dame or USC.
Still think Kiffin is scrounging couches for loose change at Ole Miss.
I haven't seen where any of these listed have said no.And most of those have already said their not interested in that price tag..
How do I know? I guess because I haven’t heard of any contracts before. Do you have reason to believe there is one?How do you know he doesn't have a contract? I'm sure they have some type agreement. Show me proof he has a contract. If he did, TN could be suing him.Try to understand the difference. Lolol.. Show me prove he didn't. Kind of silly don't you think? There had to be some type of agreement. Are they really giving the kid 2 million a year with no agreement , contract or something. Highly unlikely that they would, OR that anyone on the outside is privey to what the terms were. Your right though I'm sure that they'd just give him that kind of $$$ with zero agreement to what his obligations were.Show me proof he has a contract. If he did, TN could be suing him.
Yes, I think they are giving 2 million without a written agreement (a contract), which is crazy. I really don't think they have contracts. If I'm wrong, I hope someone proves it so, but I haven't seen it so far.Lolol.. Show me prove he didn't. Kind of silly don't you think? There had to be some type of agreement. Money is being exchanged. I would guess even a dumb kid (and his parents) would want something in writing regarding what is being promisedHow do I know? I guess because I haven’t heard of any contracts before. Do you have reason to believe there is one?
Actually, upon further thought, while he was sitting there I would call the backup QB and tell him that now HE IS the starting QB.Good. If a college kid told me he was holding out for more pay, I would laugh in his face and tell him goodbye.
So, you don't know. You just assume they have contracts. I know they didn't have contracts and I've heard nothing to suggest that they have contracts now, so I'll stick with they don't have them still.Money is being exchanged. I would guess even a dumb kid (and his parents) would want something in writing regarding what is being promised
It is all over the place whether or not this has been finalized, I've seen mentions of 1.75 million as a number, but the only confirming source is Cowherd at this point.UCLA Bound
LOL - Teams are doing anything they can to raise more NIL money, some teams even have a fanbase that actually donates to NIL.What did you just say? "I don't blame him"? Really? Regardless of this current crap show, the kid still evidently had a contract with his team (no matter how illegal that probably was in itself), and one year in he wants it ripped up so he can extort twice as much. The only way this could be better is he never plays another down in college or the league. It's way past time for more teams to start backing this crap show up....
Yeah, so many coaches out there in top-level programs value "doing what's right" over winning and keeping their multi-million dollar jobs.Actually, upon further thought, while he was sitting there I would call the backup QB and tell him that now HE IS the starting QB.
Ah, the old "if this kid jumps off the bridge to see how deep the water is, you should jump in after him". Is that it? Just because some people are so wrapped up in "thinking" this will lead to their teams winning more, (there is absolutely zero evidence to show that) that makes it the thing to do? Please. When someone who's not a football power wins shit. you let us know. And frankly paying kids outside the umbrella of rev share is still ridiculous. You do what you want, Doesn't mean we should join in your fantasy...LOL - Teams are doing anything they can to raise more NIL money, some teams even have a fanbase that actually donates to NIL.
I'll be monitoring your posts come football season to ensure you don't bitch about the product or production on the field.Ah, the old "if this kid jumps off the bridge to see how deep the water is, you should jump in after him". Hey idiot, you can’t complain about people not giving their hard earned money to fund the only thing in your life unless you too don’t give your hard earned money to fund the only thing that exists in your life.I'll be monitoring your posts come football season to ensure you don't bitch about the product or production on the field.
Thats fine, I have a couple of stalkers who do that now because they have nothing better to do with their time. Obviously your of the same ilk.I'll be monitoring your posts come football season to ensure you don't bitch about the product or production on the field.
You can't unscramble an egg, the changes and regulations you will for will never happen.Thats fine, I have a couple of stalkers who do that now because they have nothing better to do with their time. Obviously your of the same ilk.
Not to get political, but I look at this a bit like Ukraine vs Russia. We can throw all the money at that mess that we want, all the weapons, and yet Ukraine will NEVER defeat the superpower, (Russia). Because Russia will always be Russia, (and Russia under Putin will spend hos country into the ground to get what he wants), and Ukraine is quite simply not. Without another "superpower" (USA) actually putting their players on the field, Ukraine will never win the victory they want.
You can throw all the money you want at Iowa athletics, and we'll NEVER be OSU, (choose your superpower) Not without drastic changes and regulations controlling this mess into a level playing field. Not holding my breath that is going to happen.
Obviously I was making an analogy. Nobody said you can unscramble an egg either, and throwing money at it isn't going to fix it either. If you really think your ever going to outspend or even stay close to the top schools for it to even matter, then you should set up a stand , and market whatever your smoking. You can't unscramble an egg, the changes and regulations you will for will never happen.
Do you comment negatively on Ukraine's military actions or decisions?
