Try to understand the difference. The dude had a contract, which I would assume required that he actually participate in, you know, football activities. So he sits out spring practice and extorts the school to "double down" on his 2 mil. As of this point NOBODY has said their willing to pay the kid, (and God bless them for that). He tried shopping his services at twice the ridiculous amount he was getting, and hopefully he ends up regretting his extortion, and teams don't cave in.
How do you know he doesn't have a contract? I'm sure they have some type agreement. As for his kid I hope this a harbinger of things to come. Get to greedy, and the door gets shut in your face.....

How would anyone possibly "feel underpaid" when this shit show just started? They got greedy. Thats all this is. It's not about established "worth". Its great though. Highly unlikely that they would, OR that anyone on the outside is privey to what the terms were. Not to get political, but I look at this a bit like Ukraine vs Russia. We can throw all the money at that mess that we want, all the weapons, and yet Ukraine will NEVER defeat the superpower, (Russia). Because Russia will always be Russia, (and Russia under Putin will spend hos country into the ground to get what he wants), and Ukraine is quite simply not. Without another "superpower" (USA) actually putting their players on the field, Ukraine will never win the victory they want.
