Yes he's Associate Head Coach. Kokesh is assistant and now Dlagnev is volunteer assistant that was Berger job
Thanks for the clarification, isn't that the same job he had at Ohio State? Even if it wasn't that specific title it still seems like a pretty lateral move, but I like and respect Tervel.Yes he's Associate Head Coach. Kokesh is assistant and now Dlagnev is volunteer assistant that was Berger job
Dlagnev was born in Bulgaria, and at the age of four moved with his family to the United States. He went to Arlington High School in Arlington, Texas, where he took up wrestling as a way to lose weight.[1][3] Dlagnev only wrestled three years in high school, where he finished third and fourth at the Texas state championships in 2003 and 2002, respectivelyNebraska wanted Tervel a few years back and was very close to getting him but tOSU ponied up big money. but Tervel is from Nebraska and so is his wife so they wanted to come back home.
Every year it feels like I have to mention he frequently doesn’t know wrestling rules. As a D1 coach that’s very concerning. It’s not Manning’s lack of a “calm demeanor” for me. Nothing wrong with an intense wrestling coach. But he looks like he has no idea what’s actually going on. While yelling and hollering he s looks utterly confused at the same time. It’s uniquely Manning.
Yes. Berger left to go train at Stanford. I wouldn't be surprised if Tervel was a stop gap for this year until they can bring in someone else and he can go back to his original position as just the RTC coach. He’s been in Lincoln since the end of March as the Head Coach of the Nebraska Wrestling Training Center. Would this just add to his responsibilities?
What do you think he is now?Maybe Terry will want to be an asst coach again.
