Not saying that I like losing to the Clowns, because I most assuredly and clearly don't... but ever since choking that W away in Ames, the Hawks are 6-0 since [4-0 in the B1G], with wins over MSU/@MSU (both wins in dominating fashion) and @PU.

RPI+SOS+important computer numbers are very strong - & the SOS will stay pretty strong.

So to give up a game, that doesn't determine their conference positioning, that makes them better and tougher for the 'real season'?? Thanks, Clowns.

Maybe you are right but nothing chaps my ass more than losing too those foolish thugs. Good thing for our wrestling squad!

The non conference schedule got this team ready for any game. @ISU that tournament against Dayton, ND and WSU. Looking at the teams that have beaten Iowa. They all have one thing in common, experienced pg's. Look at the Purdue and MSU games and you really see Iowa taking advantage of bad pg play. I hope this continues the rest of this year.

Yeah, and if Iowa State doesn't get their poop in a group soon, that loss is looking a whole heck of a lot worse.

the one thing the ISU game did IMO is it made Fran & evaluate his trust in his bench....in his post game tonite he mentioned,,he knew with such a veteran starting lineup we would be a good team...but to be really good needed the bench to step up.

And they can get even better..with a little more confidence & experience (Ellingson&Wagner)

Thank you guys for helping our RPI, keep winning and hopefully the clones get the ship righted to return the favor.

The second half of that game was the only Iowa basketball I had watched to that point, and I swore I wasn't going to waste anymore time on them this year.

Please proceed to pelt me with rotten tomatoes now.

Anyway, maybe that did spur the germination of ... umm ... their nuts as JU put it. And them nuts are growin'!

Ironic that Iowa is saving their bacon right now. If they can't win @K-State and at home vs. Oklahoma, they are a bubble team considering they still have a pair with Kansas and West Virginia.
