Yes, today was tough to watch, but it must have been infinitely tougher for our seniors on the floor. I, for one, want to say thank you for all your great effort across your years at Iowa. It was a massive pleasure watching you play, win or lose, and I'm proud of all of you boys.

Agree, these guys made Iowa Basketball fun again. It wasn't that long ago students were free, dollar dogs were nightly things and there were more empty seats than there were seats with butts in them. The night Jarryd Cole tore his ACL you could damn near hear it tear the place was so empty. I mean, hell, we celebrated a first round NIT win against Dayton like it was a win to go to the Final Four just a few years ago.
Basabe, Marble, White, Gabe etc. were a huge part of it too obviously, but you know your program is moving in the right direction when you can be upset at winning 20 games and making the tournament. I might have yelled at my TV a lot during the last 4 years, but it sure was a hell of a lot of fun to watch.
