That game didn't mattet for the Big Ten tournament in terms of wins and losses. Losing to THAT team, up 16, up 9 under 2 to go, losing in OT? Ouch...

If this team has anything left mentally I will be shocked and impressed. I have been trying to be positive and trying to believe in this team but this absolutely sucks.

That horse has been dead for awhile.

We need a new horse. Perhaps we can do a reset but this season sure looks lost. That was a depleted team that beat us.

Cant say I would have felt a whole lot better if they eeked one out against a dilapidated nebby team, but if you really think about it that was a perfect regular season ending to another lackluster yr of hawkeye hoops..

Why should Iowa fans expect this fall yearly at the end of a season under this coach? Asking for a friend...

Actually up 9 with 50 seconds to go. In last 30 seconds Connor threw away inbounds pass with timeouts to be taken, makes a dumb foul putting them on the line and missing 1 of 2 fts. Glad he was in again during crunch time. Also didn’t help JBo walks the ball up the court when they tie it up with under 10 seconds. A good coach and team run it up to half court and call a time out and draw something up. Not Fran and Iowa...

The end of game management was miserable. The refs were bad, NU made shots, but terribly managed. Garza, the leading scorer for Iowa, got arguably the fewest touches of any Iowa player in OT. Connor is not a capable end of game player yet. In addition to almost not even giving Iowa a chance at the end of this game, he almost did the exact same thing against Northwestern but was bailed out by a kicked ball. He has hit a freshman wall and the minutes need to reflect that. The final play call was horrible as everybody in the building knew it was going to Bohannon and we didn’t need a three. Not calling a timeout after crossing half court was another terrible idea.

I wish we could just call it good and move on. There’s no reason to continue on with the inevitable 2 losses coming.

They didn't have any timeouts left.

Nice call! Was thinking exactly that. Had they pulled out a W there what exactly does that do to know you barely squeaked one out against a bottom feeder Nebby ,playing with the equivalent of some guys that looked like they were brought in from the local Y? Complete dumpster fire this team is!
