That sonofabitch

Shark Tank Writing GIF

You say he's entering the portal....

Idc if he stays or goes, but he seems like a flake which is a turnoff for me. Don’t like that at all. On the other hand he would have to have enrolled at Iowa in January. So he’s in the middle of a semester. He can’t leave until May, right? Can’t even enter portal for a month… not that tampering and contact through parents or relatives can’t and does happen. But, he’s stuck on campus for 2 months in order to maintain his eligibility, right?

Academic eligibility? Is that still a thing?

Saw him wandering around carver a few weeks ago by himself at a hoops game. Looked miserable

It's things like this that are one of the now numerous reasons why "college sports" are losing me as a fan.

I would rather they go to what amounts to being an honest, organized, professional (single) league where every "school" has to play by the exact same rules for both players and coaches.

I mean, let's face it. Calling it "college football" or "college basketball" seems quite ridiculous any more. There's going to be maybe 10 or so schools with unlimited money who will win everything in every sport in the not too distant future.

Might as well rip that band aid off now and get it over with - because that's where it's ultimately going. An Iowa will NEVER have that kind of money. Hell, I even doubt an FSU would ever have that kind of money.

We’re talking about Alabama. They don’t give a shit about things like academic eligibility.

In fact, I’m not sure the NCAA does any more either. I can’t recall the last time I heard about a player being ruled academically ineligible.

Did someone on Iowa’s staff hookup with his mother on Tinder a couple years ago then ghost her or what?

19 and will get his first major lawsuit over NIL money, jealous.

Fvck that guy.

Hope he blows out his knee out on the first play of the first game next fall.

BTW...I'd say the same thing for any other school in the country that a player would pull that crap on.

Anyone remember the treads here when Deion stole our 5*?
There was a different vibe that time.

Proctor is not getting sued over a NIL contract; no school wants to open the pay-for-play can of worms before House is decided, and Corker's decision stripped any semblance of control the NCAA or any school has regarding NIL.
