That was one of the weirdest BB game finishes I've ever witnessed...

Or maybe the punishment is designed to not have that type of garbage in the game. ‘Targeting’ type of penalty

If they erased the Weiskamp basket you open the door for stopping a breakaway by fouling someone else behind the play. In certain dire circumstances it would be better to give up 2 FTs to a poor shooter and the ball, than give up a layup

Bardo typically roots against the Hawks right up until the moment he realizes they are about to win,.. then he quickly resorts to knob slobbering to cover his tracks ...

I don't agree with this at all. I think he is very evenhanded when calling the games and is certainly complimentary of Iowa and the players. What do you want him to do? Wear an Iowa jersey while doing the game?

Depends on what he said,.. After getting beat on for the entire game I'm sure that final punch to the face caused him to unleash a torrent,.. If he didn't deserve it, he at least earned it...

On a related matter, when did Luka give up on the mouthpiece he had been wearing? Given the number of times he gets smacked in the face, is this a good idea?

I don't think it was anything physical that set off garza.
He just laid on the floor for a few seconds. then all the sudden a wisky players turns his head(likely said something garza didn't like) and garza hops right up to let him know theyre in his house :)

Still wears it as far as I know....

Iowa was shooting 3's horribly and was lucky that Wisconsin was short a player with another leaving hurt during the game. We luckily came away with a win, you need those every once in a while when you are not hitting on all cylinders. Great season, really fun team to watch. Great game, no quitting...

Except that any good coach in any sport tells his players that it's the coach's job to deal with the officials, not the player's. So I know what you mean, of course, but although it may seem ironic at first glance, it really isn't.
Yes it is. Being correct and being ironic are not mutually exclusive.
