The Big Ten: 4-0 and five B1G games left for OSU or MSU

Can PSU or Michigan sneak into the discussion in the B1G East?

There is a lot of talk of a three-way tie scenario with Michigan, MSU and OSU and a Tuesday night tiebreaker.

Who will be #1 in the Big Ten and who would you say right now in the B1G pecking order?

1. OSU (4-0) - they don't look as good as 2014 or the team that won last year's College Football Playoff.

Do certain B1G programs play better on the road?

2a. Iowa (3-0)
2b. Michigan State (4-0)

Who is the better TEAM right now?

Iowa hasn't beat MSU, since an awful 2012 game/season. The last match up at Kinnick was competitive for less than one quarter (2nd quarter).

QB Connor Cook is something like 32-3 as a starter and needed a career-high 398 yards and 4 touchdowns passing in the 52-26 win over Indiana, at home.

4. Michigan (2-1) - like Iowa, enjoyed a Bye Week before game @ Minnesota. BTW, all of Minnesota's wins in this series of late are in Ann Arbor. Heck, MSU and Iowa win at Ann Arbor over years too.

5. Wisconsin (3-1) - Paul Chryst left Pittsburgh in good hands, but he has a tall wall to climb in his hometown.

6. Northwestern (2-2) - Only losses @ Michigan and vs. IOWA were not close, but wins over Minnesota and @ Nebraska show light at end of tunnel. They host PSU in final 4 B1G games.

7. Penn State (3-1) - not sure they are much better than Nebraska or Minnesota at this point. They are 6-2 and clearly the sixth rated bowl eligible B1G team in 2015.

8. Rutgers (1-3) - They host the Huskers late in November at home, so despite the blowout loss last night to #1 OSU at home, why not?

9. Illinois (1-2) - B1G losses @ Iowa and vs. Wisconsin, but they may be a thorn to B1G programs the rest of the way under Bill Cubit. Bye week didn't help get Illinois' passing game on sync. Plenty of drops ...

10. Nebraska (1-3) - All five losses were by a total of 13 points in 2015? The Huskers are not as far away as one may want to say, UNL has not played a great team either in 2015, so they are close to be competitive. Remind me of Iowa over 2011-14.

11. Minnesota (1-3) - the Gophers are not Golden right now, but a win on Halloween will ignite this 4-3 team.

12. Maryland (0-3), Purdue (0-3) and Indiana (0-4) are all imperfect as B1G programs, but they each are capable of pulling off the near win or upset?

Maryland is coming off a 20-19 loss vs. PSU. They travel to Iowa for a Halloween game at Kinnick.

Indiana and Purdue will meet at the end of the season, so the cellar will be determined in the State of Indiana.

Indiana is 4-4. Maryland is 2-5 and Purdue is 1-6. Nebraska at 3-5 are the four programs most likely on the home for the Holidays list, at this point?

The Big Ten has six bowl eligible programs and Michigan moves to #7 with win @ Minnesota on Halloween.

LG in the B1G as Halloween approaching. Will the Saints be marching once November arrives with how many undefeated and bowl eligible in the Big Ten?
