Well, we lost to the 4th ranked team, a team we beat also beat #3, and a team we lost to just beat #7. Consolation prizes aren't worth anything but at least we know the teams we've played aren't that bad..

Will be interesting to see if Iowa's power rankings surge upward the next week, with the strength of schedule factored in, which also probably surged today too.

I am definitely not a "what if" fan, but imagine if we just make one stop, and then don't come out flat before morphing into a turnover machine against Mich St., not saying we would have won but this game is a matter of plays over the course of a season.
