The cult is real. Holy crap

Complains that $50 million went to Gaza for birth control. But doesn't say shit that $20 million went to Trump so he could go to the Super Bowl.
This must be the new lib gotcha. Guessing that’s roughly how much it costs for any president to go anywhere.
How much did it cost Obama to throw out the first pitch at a baseball game when he became president. Guessing you won’t find that info because republicans were crying about a president being at a game.

Welp, just went and read all responses to the original Facebook post. It’s even worse than I thought.

The cult is real. We are doomed.
They are very real. They are also extremely loud and act like they are a huge movement. However, they are not near as many as they think they they are and it will be their undoing as they massively overreach in implementation of Project 25. IF the rest of the nation can finally wake up, their days will be numbered.

It’s not so much a hard turn or that I wasn’t aware, it’s more that I tried to be hopeful and optimistic. Unfortunately, it is far worse than I expected. It’s post like the op that really crush any optimism I have remaining. After 3 weeks of this nonsense I figured maybe some peoples eyes were starting to open, but nope, their admiration for this clown just grows deeper. It leads me to believe that in a worse case scenario where a revolution breaks out, we are in for an all out civil war.

I am concerned for our country. My hopefulness now rests on trump doing the right thing. I don’t have much hope right now.
Back after the 2016 election, I thought this was just a weird phase we were going through. But now, I realize it's going to take an entire generation to move on from this. Interestingly enough, some post-election data from Nate Silver showed that Gen X was the biggest supporters of Trump (even more so than Boomers). That kind of makes sense as that generation was very anti authority if you will.

The biggest issue is that Trump is just bulldozing his way through sidestepping all previous norms. An example would be this DOGE crap. I'm all for government efficiency but this should have gone through Congress and had WAY more transparency. This sets a dangerous precedent (as if the rising amount of executive orders by both sides lately wasn't bad enough) and opens the door to destroy the system we have set up that has been pretty good.

The cult is definitely real. The posters in this very thread prove that. I can’t imagine living a life with so much anger and hatred.

In all fairness, we have tried telling you. I appreciate that while you have called out Dems, you also have stayed receptive to the bullshit that MAGA throws out there. It's a full blown cult and has been for a while.
They defend everything the perfect definition of a cult. Foreign leaders do not respect Trump at all.

“Why is so much of our taxpayer dollars funding other countries while we have so many people struggling in our own country?”

What’d you tell him, OP?

Yeah put those tax dollars to work helping people here! Oh wait…. that’s what the democrats would do.

The infrastructure bill promised under Trump but passed under Biden didn't help Americans in America?
Weird.

How many things in there like the 42 billion for rural broadband that’s enough to buy a starlink base unit for every household in the country, but instead is wasted on laying cables through the wasteland at the eye watering price of $200,000 per pass (home or business on the path)?

I mean, it’s gotta be near impossible to spend hundreds of billions of dollars and not ‘help’ somebody, but larding up the telecoms with ridiculous contracts no human would entertain with their own money isn’t necessarily a net benefit to the country.

Good job picking out one facet of the bill while ignoring all the others. BAU.

There's a good reason a great many GOP Congress members wanted to take credit for projects within their states and districts made possible by the infrastructure bill even though they voted against it.
