Yet patriotism was on full display last Sunday. Commercials, theme, etc. Some people still love this country with all its faults and the average American has grown very tired of hearing about how they are stupid, bad for being American and ruing the planet ETC

The opposition to USAID is based on the sound reasoning that we’re trillions of dollars in debt, spending over a trillion dollars a year on the interest for that debt, and all the billions sent overseas by bureaucrats with six figure salaries just makes that situation worse for the Americans who foot the bill.

It’s not so much a hard turn or that I wasn’t aware, it’s more that I tried to be hopeful and optimistic. Unfortunately, it is far worse than I expected. It’s post like the op that really crush any optimism I have remaining. After 3 weeks of this nonsense I figured maybe some peoples eyes were starting to open, but nope, their admiration for this clown just grows deeper. It leads me to believe that in a worse case scenario where a revolution breaks out, we are in for an all out civil war.
I am concerned for our country. My hopefulness now rests on trump doing the right thing. I don’t have much hope right now.
2026 midterms we have to overwhelm them and I really hope Rob Sand runs for Governor in Iowa. This state is on the line.
The fact people like you and I am sure many others are already having this reaction 22 days into his regime, is an actual positive. The Democrats can’t stop this alone. Going to take a ton of independents and moderates and traditional conservatives to come to the same realization before a true fight can begin. This unification and alignment of about 65% of the country is the end result of letting it burn…and it is burning much faster than anyone could have thought. The time for an anti maga movement to unite to save the country and constitution will soon be upon us.
