There are many reasons to be excited for MBB for the coming season, and a few reasons to be concerned. Right now I'm of the "We're so far down everything looks up" school. I expect we'll see drastic improvement over the Fran years. I'm excited. So are a lot of Hawk fans.

Do you have a point? Explain the days that we had expectations and whatever that means? How about some facts and points to back them up with? Lastly, what are your expectations? Are they even realistic? Are we supposed to win a championship every two years in every sport? Please enlighten us.
Were those the days we hired Lick and Alfraud. The problem isn’t hiring a D2 4time national championship coach (who’s probably on most D1 schools shortlist). The problem is we held onto Fran too long. Beth took care of that and probably 90% of the fanbase is happy Fran is gone and Ben is the new coach. And I applaud Beth for this.
Well he is not wrong. What could go wrong with a guy who has little D1 experience? Maybe nothing. Maybe everything. Some people are made for playing underdog. It’s fun until it is not.
Calm down. Beth hasn’t been here that long. People are happy that she’s making the obvious choices, which is something we’ve lacked since Barta became AD…what? Close to 20 years ago? I think it’s reasonable to celebrate that we aren’t stuck with a mediocrity loving AD that is on autopilot, giving everyone lifetime contracts anymore.
