Definitely the funniest rank in the military.
Yep. And when Jim got famous he basically cut off all communication with his parents. They’d arrive sometimes at concerts and he’d refuse to see them.
It is a rather common occurrence amongst famous “alternative” artists/musicians, that their parents were military officers: HR of Bad Brains, Michael Stipe, Dee Dee Ramone, Henry Rollins, Mike Watt.
