Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker suggested Thursday that the national media is in the tank for Carly Fiorina.

Walker told Glenn Beck in a radio interview that he believes there was a preconceived narrative before Wednesday night's second GOP debate.

“I think going in, we knew the narrative. No matter what was gonna happen, they were gonna say that Carly had a big night, no matter what. And obviously, they said that,” said Walker.

He also said that voters have expressed disappointment that the debate didn't include more discussion about the issues.

Walker said that “it seemed pretty clear that CNN was trying to pit people against each other for ratings," adding that the campaign has become more about "personalities."

Martha MacCallum discussed the comments with "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace, who said that Walker's comments sound like "sour grapes."

"Look, she had a good night. He didn't have a particularly good night," said Wallace, adding that the governor's campaign has been languishing for a while.

He added that Walker has a legitimate gripe about getting the least amount of speaking time, receiving three questions compared to Donald Trump's 19.

Wallace pointed out that the Walker campaign is putting "all of their eggs in one basket" right now by focusing on Iowa.

The media has incredible power to decide this race. They can flat out, follow, interview, call for comments, etc. a single candidate every single day for a month while completely ignoring campaign speeches of others. And it's all free. I'm not passing judgement on the issue from the OP, but the media gave us Obama, they can certainly give us the next potus as well.

He's lucky they didn't go to him more. He was sweating like a horse. Literally. It seemed to get worse as his mic time increased. That dude doesn't do well in the spotlight.

Walker pretty much sucked the other night. I like Carly telling Donald off but other than that, she didn't do much for me. I actually like Ben Carson and the fact that he doesn't get all huffy and shout like a banshee, like all the other clowns.

Can't blame them from ignoring the speeches of others. When those speeches don't generate any interest. Scott only has one person to blame for his failing campaign.

Carly and Rubio crushed the Russia/Syria issue...made trump look really bad but didn't seem to dent trump at all. Probably because to the average intelligent voter, they couldn't tell the difference between the three answers.

True. Someone remarked that if the TV audience was regular CNN viewers, they probably wouldn't know what Carly was talking about when she referred to the Planned Parenthood videos.

I think Carly will start to improve her ratings significantly after the debate.

She's a female outsider (a "two-for" if you will). If she plays things right, she could end up in the VP slot.

Maybe he should whine and drop out of college. What? He already did that? Never mind, then.

One thing I don't like about Obama is when he whines about things like this. I wasn't a fan of Walker anyway so it changes nothing but I do want a president who has thicker skin and is above this kind of stuff.

Epic demonstration of his conservatism there; surprised he didn't blame Obama too.

I agree about Walker's apparent attempt to garner sympathy. At the pace he's on... he may not even make it thru the Iowa caucuses. It will be a flameout of massive proportions. All this from a guy that was nearly a shoe-in to win early in Iowa.

That proclamation by our Republican friends that this was a VERY strong GOP field is starting to look like, perhaps, one of the WEAKEST in quite some time.

Fiorina is a media driven idol right now. She is unique as a Republican. A female with intelligence. Kind of the anti-Palin, if you will.

She is the best option for the media to tear Trump down since he has yet to implode
I absolutely believe you nailed it. She is obviously intelligent. She's not beautiful, but she is far from ugly. She will need to pick another fight with Trump, however. Maybe not regarding the Mexican border wall, but by the next debate...it's quite possible Trump will have proposed a building a Muslim wall, too.

Fiorina is going to get attention as the anti-Hillary candidate.
By this I mean that Fiorina has more intelligence, better
public speaker, and with more courage than Hillary

Bottom Line: Fiorina is a good outsider running for Prez and
and Hillary is a bad insider trying to be President.

It's amazing that the Republicans have always tried to market themselves as producing candidates that provide good business leadership that translates somehow in to being good at running government. Many of them like Trump have a whole list of bankruptcies in his history (as did W earlier). And Carly Fiorina, though she may "appear" to be intelligent and savvy, actually has had a big history of failure at HP too. Why didn't anyone want to have her in their business after HP fired her many years back. If she was so good in business and that was just a personal issue with HP leadership, then someone should have scooped her up by now.

Here's an example of a project she personally pushed at HP that Steve Jobs is probably smiling about the money that HP lost trying to implement it actually got translated in to a lot more money for Apple then.

You're gonna make a few enemies if you keep providing proof of how weak the GOP slate is. Just sayin!

Well, it was pretty obvious that "the fix" was not in for Walker. He's a colossal dud as a POTUS candidate, much like he is as a governor. He's a lot of smoke and mirrors and a lot more of "us against them".........He's clueless and "the base" sees right through him.

But, but,... he broke the teachers and he's anti-union, so there's that. And I hear he's successfully beaten a recall vote 47 times.

Carson is a first class person and a great guy but he has no business being POTUS
