Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker suggested Thursday that the national media is in the tank for Carly Fiorina.
Walker told Glenn Beck in a radio interview that he believes there was a preconceived narrative before Wednesday night's second GOP debate.
“I think going in, we knew the narrative. No matter what was gonna happen, they were gonna say that Carly had a big night, no matter what. And obviously, they said that,” said Walker.
He also said that voters have expressed disappointment that the debate didn't include more discussion about the issues.
Walker said that “it seemed pretty clear that CNN was trying to pit people against each other for ratings," adding that the campaign has become more about "personalities."
Martha MacCallum discussed the comments with "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace, who said that Walker's comments sound like "sour grapes."
"Look, she had a good night. He didn't have a particularly good night," said Wallace, adding that the governor's campaign has been languishing for a while.
He added that Walker has a legitimate gripe about getting the least amount of speaking time, receiving three questions compared to Donald Trump's 19.
Wallace pointed out that the Walker campaign is putting "all of their eggs in one basket" right now by focusing on Iowa.
