Prolly a Pepsi 7 times over but it's worth incessantly hammering this nail. Be creative in your Pepsi graphics...

"McCarthy, ousted.
Paul Ryan, quit in disgust over his right flank.
John Boehner, pushed out by the Freedom Caucus.
Dennis Hastert, spent time in prison after admitting sexual abuse.
And the hyper-partisan Newt Gingrich, who faced ethical complaints, resigned before his own caucus staged a rebellion."

Our GOP flank cannot "what about", "it's the dems", "blah blah" this away...

“It was Republicans who, even prior to that vote that weekend, failed to pass their own bills to fund the government. But if you look at the recent history of Republican speakers, the cause of death becomes a little clearer. McCarthy, ousted. Paul Ryan, quit in disgust over his right flank. John Boehner, pushed out by the Freedom Caucus. Dennis Hastert, spent time in prison after admitting sexual abuse. And the hyper-partisan Newt Gingrich, who faced ethical complaints, resigned before his own caucus staged a rebellion. So, perhaps the issue isn’t actually Democrats, but the insatiable thirst for rebellion in the Republican conference.” – CNN host Abby Phillip.

Bring back Newt !!!

Local right wing talk show opened the phones this morn for callers to express their preference for next Speaker. Most chose Jim Jordan. Newt and Trump were the next most mentioned. No one had negatives for Scalise but clearly not enthused.

My favorite comment came from the host himself who said that Trump would “bring back sanity” to the chamber. LOLOL.

The last 3 GOP Speakers of the House have one thing
in common. John Boehner, Paul Ryan, Kevin McCarthy
were all victims of their party's extreme right wing. This
fact cannot be disputed. Unfortunately, this problem
is not going away. The Republican party is in chaos.

It’s just a symptom of the disease. Republicans have increasingly surrendered to their far right ring. And they’ve had so many chances to push back.

You might be on to something. Perhaps the better way to run a caucus is to actually have the militants run under the fascist party banner but participate in the caucus, akin to the way the D's allow the avowed socialists to participate in theirs. :)

But dumb voters still vote for the GOP so they get some meaningless tax cuts and get to buy unlimited supplies of guns with little regulations?

Did I nail it, or what?
