You're crazy! I dislike it. It almost certainly isn't real though as the graphic isn't set right.
I don't care what wikipedia says, or whatever color classification someone may cite, I've seen gold in real life and it does not look like what we use.top right appears to be about what we have and its labeled gold.
The previously posted explanation about "sports coloring" where it's called gold but it's really yellow is the truth. We call it gold but it's yellow.
Hey, I like the color combination. It looks good, and not just on us. Just look at Columbus Crew. I don't even like or dislike them but their color scheme really works. It's underused, too, so it helps your team stand out.
Yeah, I've seen where we claim our official color is old gold. But if that's the case, why don't we use it? Not to call you out. However, if you're using the Pantone color matching system, our official licensed color is PMS #116 which, if you ask any person with normal vision, is yellow. What is the affinity for matte black? Everyone wanting to be the cool rebel in high school who had his t-bird spray painted?
I am far from the trend follower, but I think the contrast of shiny metallic gold on the dull matte black is a winner.
Saw them, less shiny than the regular ones, with a big ANF sticker on the back, other than that not much different.

I'm not big on field painting, but what about a humongous flying herky at midfield? Hmm. Maybe put him in the endzones instead of the TigerHawk?

How about an inflatable one at midfield, the players can just run around it, or in to it like in Ames! Maybe tiger-stripe the endzones pink! Polka dots everywhere!
Do you mean latest or earliest we will find out? Are they going to make us wait until warm ups?
