is Garza, will he pick up 2 quick fouls sending him to the bench or will he avoid the fouls as I doubt that Tillman can hang with him,

every team in the BT keeps DBL and Triple team him. to try to stop him.

The key to the game is that it is at MSU. Garza will be mugged and you will see one ticky tack foul against Garza of his 2 he will pick up in the first half.

The key to the game is Iowa’s best player and player of the year candidate!?

They have to match MSU's energy level from the very beginning. If they don't, they game will be over early.

Two things that can travel to away games with intense atmospheres are:

Defensive effort - we shall see, but not usually the case with this team
Rebounding - same

The offense is the least of my worries. Iowa isn’t alone with having some head-scratching road games, but Iowa still has them. Good news is I don’t think Sparty is that good this year so this one is winnable, but lots of things must fall into place for it to happen. I’m assuming about a 25% chance for the win, so hopefully you won’t see me on the board bitching if we lose!

Make 3's/shots, prepare to get grabbed and mugged and there is no pot of gold on the side of the court the Leprechaun is standing (Izzo)..

Same as versus tOSU.

1. Wieskamp provides 2nd scoring threat.
2. Kriener and Pemsl get +45m.
3. Garza gets 30-35m.

We certainly won't be getting any favors in East Lansing, that's for sure. We have to hit our three pointers and hope MSU has a significant cold streak. Things can spiral out of control quickly up there. And of course, when Luka picks up his second BS foul will be crucial.

my point on Garza was him avoiding those BS calls, when he is on the floor the other players play with more energy. it was not about him scoring,

its more about the other players energy level.

if BE, Pemsl, Kriener can play at the level like they did vs OSU they should win
JT had a very good game vs OSU,
19 Minutes
9 points
3 rebounds
3 assists
1 steal
3-6 from the field
2-2 from 3
1-1 from the FTL
1st 10 minutes were the best he had played all season
then he had 3 fouls and 3 TO's in his last 9 minutes,
now if he can get to 25 minutes and reduce the TO's to 2 or less and that will be good for a FR.

Evelyn
29 minutes
15 points
3 assists
1 block
1 TO
5-8 from the field
3-5 from 3
2-2 from the FTL

Rebounding is the key, win the rebounding battle and the Hawks win on most nights. Need to get off fast, don't turn it over and get some production from the bench too.

I’m expecting Luka to be called for 2 fouls by the 10 minute mark in the first half. We’ve been Izzo’ed so many times up there I find it hard to believe it won’t happen again.

This. And it's such BS that everyone in the league knows this is the way it "just is" at East Lansing

The only key is the refs. It feels like every game we play there we are taken out by the refs immediately. Never seen us consistently get the backend of bad calls like we do at MSU. Garza needs to drop 40.

What I’ve found is the people that complain the most about getting jobbed on the road are also the same ones that support the current layout of Carver. I don’t know your position on where to place the students, but I’m just stating my thoughts as there’s an “aha” moment for some when this gets pointed out.

That’s part of it for sure, but it also looks like our players are a little afraid of the intensity in their building. Maybe not ALL of our players but many of them disappear in East Lansing. Hope this year is different.

Joe T. has to be careful of foul calls, too, especially AT Michigan State.

Key is rebounding, rebounding, rebounding. Need Kreiner and Pemsl to have really good games and need to hit 3s when they are open.

This is the type of game in East Lansing that I'd love to see again:

This is the game that Dom Uhl went all Klay Thompson? So what you’re saying is that Pemsl will find his threeball!!

Definitely. 3 pt shooting percentage is the key. We won't get to the line so we have to pull that D out and get extra points.

It's just going have to be a great game for everyone. Connor is going to have to hit a few shots, CJF if he plays will need to get going, more good minutes from BE and CP off the bench, RK needs to get a few buckets, and JW needs a really good bounceback game. And MSU needs to play less than their best.

There's a lot to overcome in this situation when MSU has lost 2 straight at home and they need this game to preserve a good seed. Anything marginally better than a total officiating screwjob all night would be gravy.

The key to the game is to be able to counterpunch when Sparty makes their big push. You know it’s coming at some point, and when we have beaten sparty we have had that counter ready to push back with.

really hopeful that CJ can go Tuesday.

The biggest key to winning is scoring more points than your opponent. That usually works. Of course, anything can happen in sparty land.
That is the key.... if you're Fran.

If you're KF, it's give up less points than the other team :)
